I thought this quick reflection was going to be about shadow work, but it turned into a little musing on choice. I will leave it as is and you’ll see the immediate shift in writing. I try not to edit too much so that you can feel the energetics as it came through. I believe that everything we communicate is encoded, and I love being a messenger. 🙂
I’d like to occasionally share with you the personal reflections that occur when I’m doing my own work. It could be called shadow work if you resonate with that, but the bottom line is that ‘the work’ is whatever presents in your experience as some type of alert.
These alerts are often felt in your throat, chest, or stomach. Take note of how these areas of the body are the main points of protection in combat when wearing armor. Hmmmm…
I’m sure you can bring to mind a moment where you KNEW your body was sending you a signal, and you CHOSE to ignore it. You were in the greatest space of free will, but swept that body sensation aside to do what you wanted.
Not good or bad, you simply made a choice.
Okay great, but listen, my mind does NOT let me stop there. I go full out and start considering the trajectory that I ‘missed’. Do you do the same thing?
But who’s to say that the other trajectory wouldn’t have brought me to this exact place I landed? What if I just chose the long way around, while my inner guidance system was trying to save me linear time?
I hope those last two questions can help you reconcile a moment where you felt like you made the wrong choice, because it really can be that simple.
I love myself just the way I am.
I am empowered by choice.
When I make a choice, I experience life.
Ultimately, there are tons of timelines at play with branch off points everywhere, meaning, there’s a lot of territory to explore!
Card for the Collective
From The Soul’s Journey by James Van Praagh
Forgiveness – I acknowledge that harboring resentment blocks the flow of love.
You can never flow with your natural energy of love unless you release the negative energy of hate, anger, intolerance, or blame. Every soul in your path has free will, and you have no control over that. What you do have control over is how you react to the manifestations of other’s free will.
Holding on to that negative energy will strengthen karmic cycles, and forgiveness can break that pattern. The most important person you must learn to forgive is always yourself. Blaming yourself for “failures” blocks the natural flow of love, which will attract all good things into your life.
Did you pick up on the free will in that Card for the Collective?!
Mmmmm hmmmmmm… good stuff.
So I’ll save the shadow work reflection for another day, it was kind of heavy, but I know it’ll help someone at just the right time.
For now, have a great rest of the day!
